Elementary summer program


















At eTutorWorld we follow the Learning by Design methodology where we let the children learn in their own good time. To understand the learning requirements, we conduct a diagnostic test in the very first session and provide a detailed report to the parents. You are most welcome to discuss the report with and we can together create a customized, effective lesson plan.

What topics does this course cover? Will it build on the previous levels? This course will cover 8 topics in 8 weeks. Elementary level 1 is all about building the basics of Math. This course introduces all the topics listed above and builds on lessons from Montessori. Does the course have a flexible timeline? At eTutorWorld we let our students decide the timelines according to their learning pace. While we have a pre-defined timeline and lesson plan, we change them according to individual learning requirements.

We are also open to discussions. If you think your child is struggling with a topic or your child needs extra practice with a lesson, you can share your concerns with us and we will make changes in the lesson plan and timeline accordingly.

Rebecca Smith-Coggins, professors in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University's School of Medicine, this realistic simulation allows students to learn how to control minor, but serious injuries and practice the proper application of medical splints. Please note: We are currently evaluating all aspects of NYLF Pathways to STEM and may make changes to the curriculum, site visits or program location to ensure the program meets the most up-to-date health and safety standards.

Working with an mBot robot, students explore the exciting world of engineering and build a foundation in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer programming. Role-playing as a medical intern, students will examine the circulatory system and the heart, perform a dissection, and diagnose a patient. As future crime solvers and forensic detectives, students will apply math and science-based skills and use fun chemistry concepts to unlock clues in an actual case.

Students participate in a week-long challenge that allows them to utilize and expand upon the skills that they learn throughout the day during their STEM Group Meetings and STEM exploration time. Envision offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified students each year based upon financial need, scholastic leadership, achievements, and other factors. The tuition for the Residential program at NYLF Pathways to STEM includes all curriculum and instruction, program activities and evening events, overnight housing, program materials, and all breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners during the program.

Student safety and well-being during the program is our highest priority. The program is structured so that students will reside in a safe, controlled environment.

They will be closely supervised by professionally trained staff, including advisors who serve as educational facilitators and chaperones, security personnel, a scholar experience team, and program leads.
