I've probably used all the fuels available in my ST to see what ran best. I ran for a good half dozen tanks of each to make sure it was an accurate comparison. But I run it on Tesco 99 Momentum as that appears to give the most power, nearly the same MPG and smoothness as the V Power but it pops and bangs the most which, as I'm a child at heart, makes me grin. Ive been using tesco momentum since start of last year, previously just used normal tesco 95 and BP 95 before it all got more expensive and I needed my fuel to last longer.
Not going to start going mad with it. The ST only has a dinky turbo anyway so anti lag which is really only used on large turbos with lots of lag obviously isn't really needed. I use either tesco 97 or V power, seems to have a slight effect on the performance but either of them seem to get about 42mpg in my 1.
I always get better MPG from Shell and the car runs better. Hi, surely those owners with diesel engines should reply as, obviously, it is different to petrol engines. My 1p worth, with my Mk4 Mondeo the cost of the fuel outwieghted any 'so-called benefits so save your money, its expensive enough as it is. I say Shell v power all the way. I have been using for a year now and I can see a mahoooooosive difference when I fill up elsewhere as an emergency.
I have driven both petrol and diesel over the last 3 months, and always get better resposes out of both when i use Shell fuel over other. Shell is far better than average supermarket fuel, due to the extra processes it goes through at the refinary So let this particular Focus RS , then, be an example to all. Because it's covered , miles since , looks fit for many more on the outside, at least and has had just one MOT fail since its first test 90, miles ago, for a broken indicator of all things.
Obviously that's no guarantee of what it'll sell for, but it serves as some indicator of demand. Which means that the Focus RS is desirable whether it has 20, miles or almost , As well it should, because the Mk2 was a brilliant hot hatch. It blazed the trail for a lot of today's contenders, proving both that front-wheel drive could handle more than hp and that a slightly porky kerbweight need not be an inhibitor to fun.
It was a well-appointed, fast and refined hatchback, but also one that could entertain like few others. From what can be seen from the photos - there isn't a great deal of info in the advert - it still presents well enough, as does the whole exterior. That said, not having to keep it pristine would surely be one of the joys of high-mileage Focus RS ownership.
Of course it should be cared for, but how liberating it would be not to have to worry about the impact - both literal and financial - of each stone chip and concentrate on properly enjoying a fast Ford. Questions of value at the moment seem tricky to answer given the odd state of the used market. It's probably worth noting that Mk2s are available for less than this, but not by much.
The next cheapest is the Ultimate Green example. So, anyone after a Focus RS will have to be prepared to pay for it, but that's pretty much always been the case for those that didn't get a new one. There can't be many other year-old cars out there with six-figure mileages for sale at little less than their original RRP, and certainly no hot hatches.
But that's the fast Ford effect. Judging by this example, it seems you've nothing to lose by getting out an enjoying the Focus RS as much as possible. As if an excuse was required. The rear seats are fairly comfy with a good millimeters or If you compare it with the Volkswagen Polo, the rear legroom of the Focus is better. A decently sized liters or It is slightly lower than the Polo which comes with liters or The infotainment system has the latest SYNC 4 entwined with a large The new Focus witnesses the additions of advanced driver assistance features which include Blindspot Assist, Intersection Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert along with the preexisting features such as:.
That seems to be true considering the segment. And if you are concerned about the crash ratings, the Focus got tested by the Euro NCAP and it was rated with a full 5-star rating.
So with the new model year, it will be no less, considering its robust build quality and of course, the advanced driver assistance features. But with the availability of the advanced safety features which are mostly standard, along with a better cabin experience and multiple powertrain options, the Focus is the one to give extra attention to.
